Hot “fork” buffet menu

 

Our hot fork buffet is an option of hot “mains” for any function. It is served from silver "chafing dishes". These mains are all home-made and have been specially selected from our most popular recipes.

 

Choose from;

 

Lamb hot pot, topped with sliced potatoes, served with seasonal vegetables and crusty bread & butter.

 

Beef Stifado served with buttered new potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and crusty bread & butter.

 

Chilli con Carne (beef and vegetarian options available) served with rice and nachos.

 

Homemade curries:  Chicken, lamb, beef or vegetable served with rice and naan bread.

 

Hot pasta dishes: Italian beef lasagne, Creamy courgette lasagne, served with crispy sautéed potatoes and garlic bread or spicy meatballs served with spaghetti and garlic bread.

                                                                                 

 

We also have a “pie and mash” menu or you could also combine a hot fork buffet with a cold buffet.

Salads

 

English garden salad: minted new potatoes, crunchy cooked runner beans, chopped spring onions, sweet sundried tomatoes, crumbles of Cheshire cheese with honey and mustard dressing.     

 

Potato salad: new potatoes coated in mustard, spring onion, and lemon dressing.                               

 

Greek salad: large plump vine ripened red tomatoes, cucumber, red onion and oregano with Kalamata olives and crumbled rich feta cheese all drizzled with extra virgin olive oil.                             

 

Classic three bean salad: haricot beans, kidney beans and crunchy green beans with spring onions and celery gently tossed in classic honey and mustard dressing.                                                                                                                                                                

 

Mexican three bean salad: mixed pinto, green and kidney beans with avocado and egg in a coriander and lime dressing with a chopped fiery chili pepper to add that Mexican kick.                    

 

 Traditional summer salad: crisp iceberg lettuce, vine ripened tomatoes, crunchy cucumber and spring onions. Served with a side pot of mayonnaise.                                                                                    

 

Classic Coronation chicken salad: roasted chicken ripped into bite size pieces, covered in a creamy mild curry sauce, garnished with almonds and coriander; served on crisp lettuce leaves.

Creamy Courgette pasta salad: savory cooked penne pasta in a creamy cheese, garlic and herb sauce with pan fried courgettes.                                                                                                                        

 

Tuna pasta salad: savoury cooked fusilli pasta mixed with creamy tuna and sweetcorn.                    

 

Roasted pepper pasta salad: savoury cooked penne pasta with slow roasted red and yellow peppers tossed in melted red Leicester cheese.
